The mountain city of Darjeeling is one of the best tourist destinations in India. It is a place famous for its exotic landscape in the Eastern Himalayas. The region is surrounded by snowy mountains. Forests and lakes. The world’s third highest mountain Kanchanjangha is located here. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway has made its place on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The place is also better known for tourism and the tea industry.

Besides Darjeeling, there is one more exotic tourist destination, i.e. Sittong. It’s a small village located in the Darjeeling district. The place is better known for its spectacular orange garden. Therefore, the place is also known as the ‘Orange Village’. The best time to visit the place is from December to the last week of January.

Day 1

NJP Station To Sittong

We will pick up the passengers from the New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport and transport them to Sittong. On the way, we would do sight-seeing of Ahaldhara, Namthing Lake, and Shelfu. In the evening, we would reach the homestay at Sittong.

Day 2

Sittong to Lamahata, Darjeeling

Our breakfast will be served early in the morning and we will check out of the homestay. Then we set out for the hotel in Darjeeling. On the way, we would do sight-seeing for Mungpoo Rabindra Bhavan, Jogighat Orange Garden. Borbotay Hanging Bridge, Rangliot Tea Garden, Lovers View Point and Lamahatta. By the evening, we would reach the hotel in Darjeeling. We will spend the evening at the famous Darjeeling Mall.

Day 3

Darjeeling Sightseeing

We will get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise at Tiger Hill. Then, we would take our breakfast and set out for sight-seeing to places like Rock Garden, Zoo, Tenzing n Gombu Rock, Chitray Tea Estate, Tibetan Refugee Center, Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. You can take a ropeway ride for Rs 1000 extra based on the availability of time.

Day 4

Darjeeling to NJP

On the last day of the tour, we would have our breakfast early in the morning and set out for sight-seeing of Mirik. We will visit places like Lepchajagat, Simana View Point, Indo-Nepal Border (Pashupati), Gopaldara Tea Estate, Mirik Lake, and Tingling View Point. At the end of the day, the passengers would be dropped at the NJP Railway Station to catch the return train.
